Bridging the gap between dyslexia, the parent, the student, and the teacher.
Our mission at Mason’s Way is to help students with dyslexia learn with confidence and equip teachers and families with the understanding, resources, and support to help them thrive.
The Story
For founder Micah Beassie Allen, this mission is deeply personal. She and her son, Mason, both have dyslexia and know the struggle of learning in a world that doesn’t always understand how their minds work. Together, they’ve overcome obstacles, fought for support, and discovered what’s possible when learning happens in a way that makes sense to them. Today, Mason is in college, and Micah has dedicated her life to helping others find their way.
For nearly 10 years, Micah has worked as a dyslexia therapist using a multisensory approach grounded in Orton-Gillingham to help students build skills and believe in themselves. Her goal is to help children succeed in traditional school settings, alongside their friends, with access to the experiences and opportunities every child deserves. Because no child should mistake a struggle with reading for a lack of intelligence or potential.
Now, Mason’s Way is developing new resources to bring that mission to more students, families, and classrooms, giving teachers practical support to make a lasting difference.
Born from one family’s journey.
Built to help others find their way.
